Nursing Soles Academy /Mentorship Program with complete confidence, I highly recommend the Nursing Soles Academy Mentorship experience to anyone seeking meaningful skill development and personal growth in advanced foot care nursing. If I could start my own journey again I would choose to pursue both my academic and clinical education through Nursing Soles Academy in association with Foot Canada. The Advanced Foot Care Nursing program and clinical experience I originally completed asserted that it prepared students for independent practice, but fell short in some key areas, while I gained academic knowledge through self guided learning, practical skill opportunities were insufficient for competence development.  This was addressed with encouragement to pursue our own mentorship opportunities in this advanced area of practice. In stark contrast, the mentorship I received from Monica with Nursing Soles Academy was genuinely transformative. Her supportive, instructive, and empowering approach provided the hands-on skill development, encouragement, and additional safety supports needed for a quality learning experience. Monica provided relevant resources, useful templates as well as clear demonstrations and patience during hands on guidance, with a genuine focus on tailored and specific goals and outcomes that made the learning approachable and effective. What an absolutely incredible week-long mentorship with Monica from Nursing Soles. I walked out of my Foot Care course in April like a deer in the headlights not knowing what I was doing, but I made a commitment to dive in and learn what I could. When I met Monica at the Foot Care Conference in May I knew she was the person to get advanced experience with. I spent a weeklong intensive at a detox centre, a clinic for the homeless and her own clinic. I saw everything under the sun and got to work with someone who appreciates my drive to work and really saw me. I even had a chance to slip away Thursday evening to spend an hour in Lake Louise. Recently completed a two-day mentorship with Foot Care Nurse Tammy, and it was an excellent learning experience. Tammy was very welcoming, knowledgeable, and supportive throughout the entire mentorship. She took the time to explain each step of the foot care process clearly and ensured I understood both the practical skills and the reasoning behind them.

During the mentorship, I had the opportunity to observe and participate in various aspects of foot care, including nail trimming, basic foot care procedures, and the Onyfix nail correction system. Tammy demonstrated strong clinical skills and a professional approach with every client, always prioritizing patient comfort, safety, and education. I especially appreciated how she shared helpful tips, techniques, and real-world insights that are not always covered in textbooks.

I just completed my advanced foot care training with Monica. I could not even begin to describe how wonderful the learning experience was! It was truly beyond my expectations. I enjoyed and learned every minute of it! Monica is very very knowledgeable and skillful. She knows her craft very well and she is very passionate about foot care! You could see it the way she works. Her work etiquette and how detailed she is, wanting it to be perfect so her clients will experience the relief, the comfort from their feet issues. She is very articulate in the way she teaches, you wont be left wondering what she is talking about. She is smart and confident. She is friendly and bubbly. Very kind to her clients, work colleagues and student. She does not hold back any learning information from her students. You will feel her love for foot care with every stroke of her hand. Her clients adore her and says how she changed their lives just by taking care of their feet. Each day for five days, I come to her clinic more inspired. I know I have learned from the best! This lady has a big heart, as God blesses her, she also gives back to the community by giving free foot care services at Mustard Seed.
